Americas Chart Pack: June
Introduction
The Iran-US MoU has eased crude prices. Refined products will follow crude lower if the MoUholds, though normalising balances will take longer as the refining system clears supply trapped supply in the AG. Diesel is near minimum workable levels, USGC jet diffs have slid to -30 cpg, and clean USGC tonnage stands at 18 ships against a 90-day average of 14. A potential export ban on refined products is the summer's defining tail risk.
"A draining Gulf fleet will tighten supply and firm rates, despite an initial risk-off as the market gains certainty on Strait transit terms."
